Part two of our Israel Palestine dialogues for Nefesh Kin.
Having difficult conversations is an important part of who we are at Nefesh. We have talked together about death and dying, race and racism, and about Israel Palestine. We have even had a workshop called How to Have Difficult Conversations! In these times of tragedy and intense polarized discourse it is important that we be able to talk with and listen to each other. We look forward to deepening our connection to each other and our shared values of the middot.
Didn’t get a chance to participate in part one of these dialogues and want to attend part two? You totally can! We ask that if you are attending for the first time, to please show up at 1pm before the program starts to do a short orientation. We want all Kin who want to to be able to join.
*Unlike most Nefesh gatherings, this one is for Kin only. The intention is to maximize folks accountability to each other as we approach difficult topics. If you want to discuss any of this further, please be in touch with Jordana Fraider (jfraider@nefeshla.org).
