A day, a full day, to dive deep into our hearts and lives with tools to guide us. An ancient pathway, a new direction. A day full of possibilities, to experience the layers of our inner lives and our relationships with each other and with the world around us. An invitation for release, growth, commitment, and transformation. Prayer, dialogue, reflection, t’shuvah, community.
Location: Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 3300 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles 90010 / Zoom

Sermon: Rabbi Susan Goldberg
Yom Kippur Urban Retreat: 12:30 – 4:30PM – Immerse yourself in the day with reflective, restorative and soul-nourishing offerings including Forgiveness Circles, moving meditation, a learning about death rituals, and sound bath. Some offerings will be indoors and some outdoors. There will be an option to join a Forgiveness Circle on Zoom
Yom Kippur Family Service: 2:30PM – Song, prayer, t’shuvah, AND a very big whale with a guy named Jonah. Warm, participatory, family service. All are welcome.
Yizkor & Ne’ilah Service: 4:30PM – Yizkor is a service that honors the memory of those in our lives and community who have died this year or in any year. It is a moving memorial service. Ne’ilah is a special Yom Kippur final service that only happens at this one time of year. The energy of the day, of the season, builds as the gates are closing. We sing, we pray, we release, we find each other, we find ourselves entering the New Year.
