Shabbat Picnic with Nefesh

Join Nefesh in Griffith Park for a Shabbat picnic and service.

6:30 Songs, Study, and time to connect
7:30pm Shabbat blessings
We’ll gather to eat and hang out at 6:00 with songs and study starting at 6:30. Stick around for more blanket hopping, star gazing, or a spontaneous song session – we’ll welcome Shabbat at 7:30pm.
What to bring: friends and family! Something to eat and drink and a dessert to share! Ground cover, extra water, bug spray, and a camping lantern.
HEALTH & SAFETY
This is an outdoor event with ample space for distancing. Masks are optional. There’s plenty of shade in the park and we’ll have water, hand fans, and some water misters. Please take care to stay hydrated.
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
There is ample parking surrounding the picnic area.
***When you are setting up your navigation to the picnic, we recommend that you search “Crystal Springs Picnic Area Pad B”. This will take to you the exact location for our gathering on both Google and Apple Maps.
The park includes a grassy field as well as paved pathways leading from the parking areas to a paved recreation area with tables and benches and accessible, gender neutral bathrooms. The ceremony will include acoustic music and amplified speech.

Bring your non-human family members – and please take responsibility for keeping them on leash and cleaning up after them too!
